FAQs
but here are some of the most common questions our customers ask.
Placing solar panels on your roof is a profitable investment that retains its value. In addition to the financial benefits, there are even more schemes that allow you to save, such as EU subsidy, IRPF deduction and IBI discount.
Solar panels are a good investment, especially now that the payback period of the system is between 5 and 7 years. The sooner you purchase, the sooner you save on your energy bill.
Batteries are certainly interesting if you have solar panels, you store the excess electricity immediately to use in the evening instead of buying it from the grid. Especially with the current return delivery compensation.
At this moment there are no EU-subsidies available. But there is an energy class subsidy (that means, if the house has a better energy class after the installation of the panels). There is also a discount on the IBI (real estate tax. depending on the townhall) and a deduction via the IRPF (income tax. in the Comunidad Valenciana).
No, netting is only known here in the form of monthly settlement with the energy purchased and supplied back to the grid (the compensation rate for this is between € 0.05 and € 0.10 per kWh).
Therefor most of our customers opt for batteries or the virtual battery.
That’s right, normally an amount of 50% of the quotation amount is requested as a down payment, this is to reserve the materials and to enable the start of the project.
(For example: applying for a building permit)
At all times we need:
Copy of the DNI/ NIE /TIE/Residencia
Copy of the electricity bill on which the CUPS number (is the registration number of the electricity connection) is stated.
Copy of the IBI statement (real estate tax) with the Ref. CATASTRAL, We need this for the legalization of the solar system.
If you want to apply for a subsidy or request a refund for the IRPF (income tax), additional documents are required.
An average installation of 10 panels with batteries will take 2 days.
There is a roof team that mounts the panels on the roof and ensures that the cabling goes to the inverter, and a person who installs the inverter (and possibly the batteries) with the relevant security materials and puts it into operation.
The installation team needs access to the place where the solar panels are to be installed, as well as where the cable route will be and the meter cupboard in the house. We also need to have access to the cupboard on the street because of the noise. the installation of an extra security that is required by the electricity companies.
We recommend installing it as close as possible to the fuse box. We can also install it in a basement or technical room and find our way back to the fuse box from there. However, we do avoid damp areas and next to gas and water installations.
We can dismantle this system for you, additional costs will be charged for this depending on the number of panels.
With the app installed on your phone or tablet, you can see exactly how much power you still take from the grid, what is generated by means of the panels and insight into the consumption in your home. Daily, weekly and monthly.
Once the installation is complete, we can submit the legalization (Certificate/Boletin) to the Generalidad of the relevant Comunidad and as soon as this certificate has been issued, a note will be sent automatically to your energy supplier who will then contact you to activate the return supply. You often have to agree to this by means of an amendment to the contract.
Solar panels generally require little maintenance. Still, it can’t do harm to check and clean them thoroughly once a year. This way you can be sure that your solar panels remain optimally profitable.
Yes, that is possible, if it later turns out that there is still a lot of power going to the grid, it can be profitable to install extra batteries in your system.
It may be that throughout the season it is not always possible to determine whether there will be shade on part of the panels. Then it is possible to place optimizers under the panels that are in the shade. These ensure that the panel that is then in the shade is temporarily switched off, so that the rest of the string continues to work optimally.
That’s right, we invoice the entire system in 1 invoice because it is desirable that only 1 invoice is submitted for any subsidy applications.
You can simply deduct your deposit from the invoice, so the remaining amount remains to pay.
Yes, we can also monitor the installation from the app and provide technical support if necessary. You can always contact us if you encounter technical problems.
