VAT INCREASE

In the year 2022, the government reduced the VAT on electricity to 5% due to the high price of electricity. In January 2024, VAT was increased again to 10%.

However, VAT on electricity has been increased again from 10% to 21% from 1 March 2024. This is an increase of 11%, which will be immediately applied to the invoice for the month of March.

You will therefore see that from this month onwards your energy bill will be higher, for the same number of kW of electricity consumed, than you are used to.
